Here is the corrected solution:

M=1
O=0
R=[7 or 8]
E=6
V=[7 or 8]
A=[3 or 4]
S=9
N=[4 or 5]
Y=2

Where N and A are related by A+1=N and of course R=7 means V=8 and vice versa.

This gives four possible sums
