This program is a revised version of one that I wrote in the 1980s.   Many thanks
to Ray Frantz and James Cotter who gave me some of the ideas for this newer version.

The game takes place in John Handley High School in Winchester, Virginia.
The object of the game is to take a journey through high school and eventually
graduate (you must pass a minimum of ten subjects).

In each class there are 4 activities which you may do in order to pass that class.
If you do all 4, you will earn an A in that subject.   If you do 1 activity, you will
receive a D in the class.   You will pass with a minimum grade of D but you should
strive for as high a grade as possible.

The Handley Adventure Game can only be run on PCs.   When you click below to download the file, choose the SAVE AS option.   This allows you to put the file in the folder that you select.

Click here or on the tab above to download the Handley Adventure program to your computer.

Once the file is downloaded to your computer, you may run it to play the game.

If you would like to have your name added to the list of Handley Graduates below, please send an email to: David Pleacher (MATHPAGE@GMAIL.COM) with the following information:

Your name:
Your town and state (or country)
Attach the two files HISCORES.DAT and HANDLEY.DAT which are located in the same
folder or directory as the HANDLEY.EXE game (This is to verify that you graduated).

If you are the first to completely solve the game (with a 4.0 GPA), you will receive a $100 prize, and your name will appear at the top of the list of graduates!
To verify that you have a 4.0 average, you must send me the additional items:
Send me the quote on the special page for getting a 4.0 GPA and
attach the file called FINAL.DAT which is in the same folder as the game.
