Arches National Park is famous for the thousand red arches of sandstone that occur there.   But there are also many other striking rock formations scattered over the park's 73,000 scenic acres.

The temperatures in Arches National Park may reach 110°F in the summer and Gram and Pops found that their hiking activities were restricted when they visited in August.   However, it was much more pleasant when they revisited in April.

The park has some extraordinary features, including balanced rocks, fins, windows, and pinnacles.

Gram and Pops visited here in August 2002 and April 2017.
