Channel Islands National Park is a series of eight islands along the coast of southern California.   San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, and Anacapa are the northernmost, and San Nicholas, Santa Barbara, Santa Catalina, and San Clemente lie to the south.

There are two visitor centers, one in Ventura and another in Santa Barbara.   Access to the islands is by boat or plane.

The eight islands and their encircling waters are home to over 2,000 species of animals and plants -- 145 are found nowhere else

Gram and Pops visited here in July 2019.
