The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is a railroad museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee.   It was founded as a chapter of the National Railway Historical Society in 1960 to save steam locomotives and railway equipment for future historical display and use.

Today, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum continues to run trains, showing people what it was like in the golden age of railroading.   Visitors can also take a one-hour 6-mile round-trip ride, pulled by a steam locomotive.

Gram and Pops visited here with their family in July 1987.
