1. Never use a preposition to end a sentence with.
2. Avoid run-on sentences they are hard to read.
3. Don't use no double negatives.
4. Don't overuse exclamation marks!!!!
5. Write all adverbial forms correct.
6. If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times,
resist hyperbole.
7. If any word is improper at the end of a sentence, a linking
verb is.
8. Steer clear of incorrect verb forms which have snuck into
the language.
9. Don't use commas, that aren't necessary.
10. Reserve the apostrophe for it's proper use and omit it where
its not needed.
11. Verbs has to agree with their subjects.
12. Avoid trend locutions that sound flaky.
13. Use the semicolon properly, use it where it is appropriate;
and never where it isn't.
14. "Avoid overuse of 'quotation "marks." ' "
15. Proofread your writing to see if you any words out.
16. Correct speling is essential.
17. Everyone should be careful to use a singular pronoun with
singular nouns in their writing.
18. And don't start a sentence with a conjunction.
19. A word to the wise. Avoid cliches like the plaque.
20. Avoid un-necessary hyphens. Hyphenate between syllables.
