Yaquina Head Lighthouse is located in Newport Beach, Oregon.   The 93-foot lighthouse has 114 steps and took a year to build (1872 - 1873).

The fully automated first order Fresnel lens runs on commercial power and flashes its unique pattern of 2 seconds on, 2 seconds off, 2 seconds on, 14 seconds off, 24 hours a day.


Pops visited here in March 2024 with daughter Sarah and grandsons Ben and Jackson.
