Sudoku is the number placing game taking the world by storm. The rules of Sudoku are simple. Enter digits from 1 to 9 into the blank spaces. Every row must contain one of each digit. So must every column, and so must every 3x3 square. Each Sudoku has a unique solution that can be reached logically without guessing.
Solution to the Problem:
Originally called simply Number Place, the first puzzle was created by Howard Garns, a freelance puzzle constructor, in 1979. The number of valid Sudoku solution grids for the standard 9x9 grid was calculated by Bertram Felgenhauer in 2005 to be 6,670,903,752,021,072,936,960. Listed below are links to SUDOKU sites.
