I have ten U.S. coins worth a total of $1.19.   But if you give me a dollar bill, it is not possible for me to give you exactly a dollar's worth of change in return.   If one of my coins is a half dollar, what are the other nine coins?

Solution to the Problem:

Besides the half dollar, I have a quarter, four dimes, and four pennies.

David & Judy DIxon sent in the following solution using US coins that are no longer minted.

# Coins Coin Value Total Value
1 $0.50 $0.50
1 $0.25 $0.25
3 $0.10 $0.30
4 $0.03 $0.12 No longer minted
1 $0.02 $0.02 No longer minted
