The Black Canyon is incredibly deep and has very sheer walls. The greatest depth is 2,722 feet at Warner Point.
The Painted Wall is the highest cliff in Colorado. From river to rim it stands 2,250 feet. By comparison, the Sears Tower,
in Chicago, Illinois, is the highest building in the U.S. and it stands 1,454 feet.
