Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon is a series of giant amphitheaters with millions of pink rock pinnacles called "hoodoos" that seem to glow at sunrise and sunset.   These limestone, sandstone, and mudstone formations in Bryce Canyon have been shaped and colored through erosion and oxidation of iron in the sediment.   The hoodoos are extraordinary.

Gram and Pops visited here in August 2002 and again in April 2013.
