Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site

The Hubbell Trading Post was started by John Lorenzo Hubbell in 1876.   For over 50 years, he was known as an honest businessman and a wise counselor to the Navajo Indians.   Today, the Hubbell Trading Post still operates as a working trading post where you can buy flour, rugs, jewelry, baskets, or coffee.

But there is much more here. Besdies the Trading Post, you can tour the Hubbell home, the Barn, the Blacksmith Shop, the Bread Oven, the Chicken coop, the Bunkhouse, the corral, and the kitchen garden.
