Redwood National and State Parks is awe-inspiring from its gigantic trees to its rocky shore. It is a cooperative
effort between the National Park Service and the California Department of Parks and Recreation that includes Redwood National
Park, Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, Del Norte Coastal Redwoods State Park, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park.
You will find the world's tallest living tree here in the park along with elk, pelicans, fish, mountain lions, coyotes, foxes,
bears, and deer. There are trails in the forests and on the beach.
Gram and Pops visited here in August 2010.
