Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is located in the Klammath Mountains in California. It was dedicated
by John F. Kennedy in 1963, just one month before he was assassinated.
Whiskeytown Lake features 36 miles of shoreline and a surface area of 3,200 acres. Some of the activites include fishing,
swimming, water skiing, canoeing, boating, sailing, wind surfing, swimming, and hiking.
