Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park was the world's first national park.   In 1872, President Ulysses S. Grant signed a law declaring that Yellowstone would forever be "dedicated and set apart as a public park or pleasuring ground for the benefit and enjoyment of the people."

Yellowstone is made up of five distinctively different regions: Mammoth Country, Roosevelt Country, Geyser Country, Canyon Country, and Lake Country.   There are hot springs, geysers, mud pots, hot pools, waterfalls, and native wildlife.

Gram and Pops visited here in July 2003, in July 2011, in July 2014, and in January 2018.
