Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is world famous for its impressive waterfalls, cliffs, unusual rock formations, and lakes.   Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, Half Dome, Vernal Falls, Mirror Lake, Tenaya Lake, and Tioga Lake are just some of the many high points of this park.

There are hiking trails to suit everyone's taste, with more than 800 miles of trails throughout the park.   The park ranges in elevation from 2,000 to over 13,000 feet.   It is truly awe-inspiring.

Gram and Pops visited here in August 2011.
