The Winchester and Western Railroad is a shortline railroad operating from Gore through Winchester,
Virginia, and on into West Virginia to Hagerstown, Maryland. At one time, the Weak & Weary Railroad, as the locals called it,
provided passenger service between Winchester, Virginia to Wardensville, West Virginia. But primarily, the W&W has
been a freight line throughout its history.
When Pops moved to Fort Collins, Colorado from Winchester, Virginia, he discovered many W&W Hopper cars in the city. You
will see the pictures that he has taken of them.
